WBAI, New York,99.5 on your FM dial, is a listener sponsored radio station with a variety of programs, usually from a left wing perspective. For years I have found many of these programs excellent. Until recently Democracy Now was among my favorites, as it provided information that could not be found anywhere else. Ms. Goodman would often challenge the official narrative and challenge mainstream media pundits with provocative questions. She also welcomed debate. I was one of her many admirers.
Hi Susan, It is now October 8, and I just found your blog. I agree with you 100%. Today there are massive demonstrations supporting Julian Assange in the UK and DC. But Amy and Democracy Now choose not to cover it. It is a huge story. Instead, they are covering the Nobel Peace Prize, which has gone to pro-Ukrainian forces whose aim is to destroy Russia.
Very sad indeed. I agree with everything you said about Amy's coverage of Covid, but I am also very angry/disappointed by her coverage of other stories of international significance.
And she wouldn't touch the Hunter Biden story. I guess her "handlers" would not allow it.

Meanwhile Democracy Now went full pervert and began spitting in the face of every gay person, every feminist, and every family by getting on the neo-LGBT bandwagon with all it’s twisted “logic”. It was no surprise at all to me when Democracy Now went full-on pro-vac and their anti-big pharma coverage was all about “vac equity” and making sure every poor BIPOC in the world takes the juice. No, the now long-obvious truth is Goodman is and always was fake, even when she seemed real and had my support. This is Tavistock methodology in action, and on that note, there is little separating Infowars and Democracy Now. Sure, they seem different, but they are two opposing forces psyop-ing the divided masses, driving them all mad with the slow poison of partial truth mixed with subtle diversions and invocations, all the while ratcheting up the outrage on behalf of power.
You are right. But since Oct. 7, she has returned to her daring self. For example, her reports of the Gaza Genocide have been remarkably factual and brave. Just today I heard her condemn U.S. journalists for ignoring the targeted killing by the IDF of more than 100 Palestinian journalists. The program mentioned how eagerly American journalists have reported the deaths of several journalists in Ukraine and in Russia but ignore the assassination of Palestinian journalists. "Bravo" to Ami and Nareen Sheikh.
You must not have been around during 911, that's when everybody realized not so good Goodman and Numb Chumpsky were some sort of gatekeepers. The're both millionaires, that's pretty much everything you need to know.
I’d like to go a small step further in mentioning the biggest crime in our history happened when Joe Biden miraculously became president. Bull, he’s an idiot and doesn’t come close to being appropriate for the job. I believe Russia never would have invaded Ukraine with President trump in office. There would have been discussion and an alternative would have been found. I’ve never heard Ms Goodman report appropriately about that. Trump may not rub everybody right but he was the man for the job.
